Zoar Adventure Center

The Zoar Adventure Center in Wilmington, VT, opens up a world of possibilities for exploring the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont! Check out everything this location has to offer, only 40 minutes north of our base in Charlemont, MA.  

Fall is a great time for kayaking or paddle boading on the lake - the lake is warmed up and the fall foliage is starting. Come try one of our boat or bike rentals. Fall hours are Fridays through Sundays  10 am - 5 pm  . We are closed Monday - Thursday. The Zoar Adventure Center will be closed for the month of November, except by appointment, and will re-open in December for winter sports. We have a full line of personal flotation devices (PFDs) for all boating needs whether you paddle on the locals lakes or rivers. Remember it's the law that everyone have their own PDF when on the water. Stop by and check out the other cool stuff - recreational, lightweight, 9-foot Zydeco kayaks starting at $449, paddles, boating/water shoes, waterproof bags and hiking supplies.

Mt. bike lessons and guided trips on Saturday afternoons. Need some technique tips for riding trails in the woods? Don't know the local trails and want a guide? Every Saturday 1 - 4 pm John Kemp, local resident and past director of the Devo Cycling Team will provide biking clinics on the trail system in Wilmington. John will be hosting some great fall foliage rides in late September through mid-October on the local trails. Call ahead to book your spot - 800-532-7483.
