Zoar Outdoor’s Diversity Initiative

We want to be as transparent as possible. Our staff are constantly learning and educating ourselves on how we as an outdoor industry can be better at creating an inclusive environment. Our main goal is to provide fun outdoor adventures for everyone.

Here are a few action steps we have taken so far:

Next year, we look forward to bringing back our Women’s Weekend and Pride Day on the River with Venture Out Project!

We have made a connection with Multicultural BRIDGE. An amazing grassroots organization located in Lee, Massachusetts. They’re a catalyst for justice, social change and building community.

BRIDGE’s dedication to promoting mutual respect and understanding is important to us. Their programs and events also create a space for inclusion and learning. We see BRIDGE as a vital organization for our area.

You can now support Multicultural BRIDGE by adding $2 to your reservation while booking with us online or over the phone. The Zoar Management team is also looking forward to a class we will be taking with BRIDGE this fall on cultural competency.
