Our area is rich with places to visit, things to see and places to eat.  Here are just a few of our favorites

Places we love

Shelburne Falls – If you haven’t walked across the Bridge of Flowers in full bloom or stood over the Glacial Potholes as the spring freshet roars through them, you haven’t experienced small-town western Massachusetts at its best.  With a number of excellent restaurants and a lively walking scene, Shelburne will certainly be a highlight of your trip.

Mohawk Trail State Forest – Only a couple of miles down the road from our base in Charlemont, Mohawk is a great place to hike, swim or camp.

Mount Greylock – The highest point in Massachusetts has hiking trails on all sides and a road up it from both the south and the north. The view from on top can be spectacular and you can even stay overnight at Bascom Lodge on the summit.

Mass MOCA – This modern art museum built in an old industrial complex features multimedia installations that will intrigue and amaze you. They also host live music and dance events regularly throughout the year.
