“When encountering other groups on the river, it was very clear that Zoar’s guides are more knowledgeable, skilled, organized and safety conscious. It confirmed for me that I had made the right decision when choosing Zoar.”
“I brought my grandson on the Zoar Gap raft trip and a climbing program and I just want to commend everyone involved. It was a thoroughly professional , yet very, very fun, experience which neither of us will ever forget. The beautiful DeerfieldRiver did its part ,too, of course. We especially loved having Vivien as our guide.
Thanks for a great experience.“

Our trips take place on two sections of the Deerfield River – from the #5 Dam in Monroe, Massachusetts to Fife Brook Dam in Florida, Massachusetts, and from Fife Brook Dam in Florida, Massachusetts to the Number 4 dam in Buckland.
Below Fife Brook Dam the Deerfield River flows unimpeded for 17 miles - the longest stretch without a dam on the main river. This run is among the most heavily used by whitewater paddlers.
