Zoar Adventure Center will provide you with a bike helmet to wear. For your safety, no sandals or flip flops will be permitted, and you must wear closed-toe shoes.
Wear clothing that can get muddy and wet. While this trail is in good condition, some wet and muddy spots will likely mean we’ll come back dirty.
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the season, but avoid loose clothing that could tangle the bike. Skirts should be avoided. In the summer months, light pants or shorts, T-shirts, and a light jacket work well. We go in the rain, so come prepared with rain gear if needed. In late fall or spring months, it is better to come with too many articles of clothing than to come with not enough. For colder weather, plan on bringing a hat that will fit under a bike helmet, wool socks, a weather proof jacket, and gloves to keep you warm.
You should bring a small day pack or Camelbak, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, and a water bottle. It is best to bring a change of clothes that you can leave in your car for after your ride.
