Charlemont, MA — On Saturday, September 28th, Chris Spelius will show videos of whitewater paddling and outdoor adventure opportunities in Chile, South America at the Zoar Outdoor Pavilion starting at 6 pm.
Olympic kayaker Chris Spelius, founder of Expediciones Chile, has hosted international guests and friends for unforgettable kayak expeditions at Campo Tres Monjas since 1987. Expediciones Chile created the Futaleufu Adventure Center (FAC) in the riverside village of Futaleufu, in Patagonia Chile. The Futaleufu Adventure Center, based out of the Hosteria Rio Grande, is the ideal launch pad for world-class rafting, fly-fishing, sea kayaking, mountain biking, horseback riding, sit-on-top kayaking, canyoning, and hiking.
Expediciones Chile is based in Patagonia, a magical place where hundreds of glacial lakes are connected by thousands of kilometers of pristine rivers, all flowing through the dramatic Andean Mountain range. The Futaleufu River Valley is an area in Patagonia enchanted by natural rhythms, where falcons soar in southern thermals high above turquoise rapids thundering through rarely explored granite canyons.
