OUR KAYAK AND CANOE CLINICS…

“Extremely well run.  Clear instruction, accommodating teaching style that set everyone up for success.  Good blend of group and individual attention.  Plus it was fun.  Great introduction to the sport for the kids.  Last night they were very excited about their first day an couldn’t wait for kayaking today.”

“Just wanted to take the time to tell you what a “gem” you have in one of your kayak instructors.  I took a 2 day “custom” clinic this past Thursday and Friday and really enjoyed myself.  Jim Sullivan was my instructor and he really did a great job. It was more like kayaking with a really talented friend. He was very patient, but encouraged me to challenge myself.  He was very concerned about my safety and really helped out when I flipped over (three times). “

We went back to my place, and we all critiqued ourselves and each other so we would remember what to remind each other of.  Then we watched tons of video footage as we tried to relate what we had learned to watching other paddlers running the gnar.  Every one of us felt that we had learned a ton, and that it had really increased our confidence.  People kept walking around the house going "What an AWESOME day". “

THE OUTFITTERS SHOP AT ZOAR OUTDOOR…

“Outfitting is fantastic.  I felt securely locked into the boat without feeling at all cramped.  Everyone marveled at how beautiful it looked too.  Only one combat roll.  I stayed tight for that, but it won’t be fully tested till I bump and scrape over rocks then land in a nasty turbulent hole…not a test I will take voluntarily.  Thank you for working on it on Saturday.”
