Trip Info

Harriman Reservoir is a paddler's paradise, fed by the North and East branches of the Deerfield River, and surrounded by the Green Mountains of Vermont.  Join us on a half–day kayak or paddle board tour over crystal clear waters on the largest body of water entirely within the state of VT! We take you to one of the many bays, some quite close to the historic town of Wilmington and others a bit further away. Paddle over the flooded village of Mountain Mills sharing this bucolic adventure with friends and family.

As you paddle, learn about the early pioneer history, the underwater town of Mountain Mills and Harriman Reservoir today. We may see osprey, great blue herons, bald eagles and songbirds as your guides spin tales of the natural wonders in and around the lake.

This trip is available for kayaks or stand up paddleboards.  This trip meets at our Zoar Adventure Center in Wilmington, VT.

Reviews

Molly [our guide] was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the lake and the area. Also a lot of fun!
