RAFT GUIDES

We are looking for whitewater raft guides to run trips on the Class II-III and III-IV sections of the Deerfield River. We conduct a 9-day training program on 4 weekends in March and a day at the end of April. No previous experience is necessary, but outdoor recreation skills are preferred. Completion of this training program and all other application procedures required for hire. Applicants must have current CPR and First Aid and be at least 18 years of age. WHITEWATER KAYAK AND CANOE INSTRUCTORS

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy teaching paddle sports and have excellent customer service skills. Positions are available for both full and part-time instructors. Our season runs from April through October with the bulk of the work occurring during June, July and August. All Instructors must have current ACA whitewater certification and valid CPR and Standard First Aid certification. Previous teaching experience a plus. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. ZIP LINE CANOPY TOUR GUIDES

We are looking for zip line canopy tour guides to work on our newest adventure high in the trees. We conduct a 6 to 8-day training program in the spring. No previous experience is necessary, but outdoor recreation skills are preferred. Completion of this training program and all other application procedures required for hire. ROCK CLIMBING INSTRUCTORS

We are looking for experienced rock climbing instructors for part-time employment. Our rock climbing season runs from June through October. Applicants must be customer service oriented with excellent teaching and technical skills. Applicants must have valid CPR and Standard First Aid certification and be at least 18 years of age. Application deadline: February 15th and on-going.

RETAIL SHOP ASSISTANT

Zoar Outdoor is looking for highly motivated individuals to assist in the daily operation of The Outfitters Shop. This position includes customer sales and service, merchandising, inventorying, outfitting of canoes and kayaks and POS system use. Applicants should possess; excellent customer service skills, strong math experience and demonstrate attention to detail. Background in whitewater activities, the use of POS systems and retail experience are helpful, but not required. Part-time positions are available for April through mid October. Tasks require lifting and carrying, so candidates should be in good physical condition. Application deadline: March 15th.

OFFICE ASSISTANT

We are looking for several qualified individuals to assist in our reservation office. Duties include phone answering, data entry, credit card processing and general customer satisfaction.Several full and part-time positions available. Application deadline: February 15th. KITCHEN STAFF

Zoar Outdoor provides lunches to all its customers participating in activities. Our commercial kitchen is seeking a motivated, professional individual who can help prepare lunches, prep food, and assist our Food Service Manager. The position of kitchen assistant requires a minimum age of 18 years, is part-time from April to October. Experience not necessary but helpful. Application deadline: March 15th.
