The primary goal of our Fly Casting Clinics is to help you quickly develop practical and effective fly casting skills. These clinics also develop an appreciation for the grace and harmony of fly casting itself. As world-renowned fly casting instructor, Mel Krieger would say, “fly casting is the poetry of fly fishing… a wondrous sport in which you grow as long as you live, reaching new plateaus on and on and on...”
Our FFF (Federation of Fly Fishers) Certified Casting Instructor works with all skill levels from complete beginners to seasoned veterans, providing personalized instruction to help you understand and become comfortable with the skills you need on the path to mastery.
You should bring
- High quality rain jacket, rain pants or waders, and rain hat
- Polarized sunglasses and wide brim hat
- Dress in layers with warm/dry clothing. Do not wear cotton!
- Supplex Buzz Off outerwear and/or bug repellant in May, June and early July
- If you prefer your own gear, a 9 foot rod for WF5F or WF6F is an excellent choice.
- Camera, in waterproof protection

Pre-scheduled Fly Casting clinics are only $75.00 per person with no minimum number of participants.

Half day : $75.00 per person (priced based on a two person minimum)
Price includes: Professionally taught fly casting instruction and use of a fly rod setup if needed
